I decided today while we were out enjoying the gorgeous weather that I would make a little clip of the kids! They love their swing-set Mimi and Pop!!! XO

I was so honored when this family contacted me about doing pictures for Mrs.Julia aka “Lovie” and Mr.Rick for their Christmas gift from the kids and grandkids! I have known this family since I was in the 8th grade at Trickum Middle School. Shannon was one of my very good friends and over the last few years we have picked up right where we left off in high school and stayed in touch with each other. I am so happy to have such a “gem” in my life! Rich and Jill also went to the same school but were a few grades ahead of me. I can’t say enough good things about them and the way they have raised their sweet boys! Julia and Rick, thank you again for claiming me as one of your own back in the day! I have lots and lots of good and fun memories over at the Wiley house in Lilburn Georgia! I hope that these pictures will make you smile as much as they did me! I love you guys so much!~ XO

I had so much fun with these boys!! We talked about all kinds of funny stuff!

Meet Jonah, Micah and Naomi! Don’t you just love their names? Shot this session months back and I am just now getting around to blogging it now that things are slowing down. Could not wait to get this one up! *This session was so much fun and crazy all at one time!! These three kiddos are absolutely adorable and were a hoot to photograph! Amber, thank you for letting me photograph your kids!!
They are each one super sweet and I loved getting to meet them and I loved getting to see you again after all these years!! XO
Is she not the most beautiful little girl ever?! I mean, for real!
And these handsome boys….;)

And last but certainly not least, mine and Amber’s attempt of getting a picture of all three kiddos!
I consider this a success when all three kids are looking semi in the same direction!! Yay!

After rescheduling this session 3 times because of rainy and cold weather conditions, I finally got to shoot this good-looking family! I thought it would never happen! Lindy and Andrew, thank you for letting me photograph Layne for his 1 year pictures. When your baby turns one, it truly is a big milestone and I was so happy when you asked me to do it! I am super excited about Layne’s albums we did too! Always a must when you do 1 year pictures!
I hope that when Layne turns two we can somehow incorporate daddy’s racing gear into the pictures!!
Andrew is a professional race car driver!! How cool is that?! Check out his site and facebook page to see more! Enough of me rambling, let’s get to the good stuff!

Found this in a magazine and thought I would pass it along to all you moms out there who have questions about what looks best in pictures!
1. Wear bright colors. Black appears flat; white reflects too much light.
2. Put on a touch more eye makeup and lipstick than everyday wear, but don’t go overboard. Nothing’s weirder than a photo of yourself that doesn’t reflect who you truly are.
3. Stretching your chin slightly forward will minimize a double chin, and great posture makes you appear thinner.
Hope this helps a little bit with your Holiday Photo’s this year!!!
Ps. Check me out on Pinterest and see some of my inspiration boards for family, baby, kids, newborn and maternity photos!
Stay Tuned for new 2012 pricing updates also!!!
